A Little Yolk Sac Appears!

This week, our scan showed a yolk sac!  The yolk sac is the little circle inside the gestational sac.  It is where the baby gets its nutrition.

      I am glad that this could ease a little of your concern.  Let me tell you that I did more ultrasounds that I can count in the 1st trimester for spotting. I would say that 90% of the time things are perfectly normal. It is just your body's way of adjusting to the pregnancy.  It is very common and I hope is just fine.  My baby is 3 months old now and AMAZING! Congratulations!
